Overall great experience. The gist: Variety of drink options, dog friendly, open layout, opportunity for productivity, street parking. The details: - Visuals: Minimalist vibes. Open layout. - Variety of drink options: No visible menu until your at the counter. I think that also contributes to there being somewhat of a wait time in line. People don't know what the options are until its your turn to order. Despite that, they had a "bubbly" coffee option and that had my interest. Ultimately, I got an iced "magic" coffee drink and it was strong but tasty if your into strong coffee. Dog Friendly: I was able to bring my senior dog in the dog stroller and sit awhile to enjoy my coffee. I saw other dogs come in and they were greeted by staff. Productivity Option: They have Wi-Fi so I was able to work on my laptop while there. There are various seating arrangements in the location, from sitting at a window, high tables/chairs, stools, and couches. You can sit at the couch and use the short stools as a small table. Service: Staff was very nice. If you were dining in, they'd bring you your drink to your seat. My coffee was in a clear glass cup so staff came and picked it up when they saw I was done. Otherwise, you'd have to take your cup to the counter before you leave. Parking: No designated parking. Only street parking is available. They're new so I'm sure there are adjustments to come. My only note for them right now is lack of menus. Otherwise, definitely worth a try!

Comet Over Delphi has a cozy, bookish interior I appreciated while sipping their pour-over coffee. I had a ricotta toast topped with seasonal jam — bright and well-balanced — plus a latte that was smooth and not too foamy. Staff were chatty and knew the menu well, offering suggestions based on my taste. It’s one of those places that makes you linger with a good book or a friend. Solid neighborhood brunch spot

Comet Over Delphi: A Sanctuary of Light, Taste, and Possibly Surveillance Comet Over Delphi is what happens when a coffee shop gets really into self-actualization. The space is spare but warm, flooded with natural light from gloriously wide wooden windows that make even your most boring emails feel cinematic. It's minimalist, yes -- but with intention, not sterility. The service is outstanding. Baristas are attentive without affect, happy to walk you through the difference between Usucha and Koicha (hint: it's about viscosity and existential commitment). The espresso is excellent, and the "Magic" -- a Melbourne-style split shot with milk -- lives up to its name. The menu reads like a quiet flex: turmeric lattes, "Kaiserwasser" sparkling water infused with Austrian elderflower nectar, and a $22 matcha "Sidecar" that sounds like something a Kyoto monk might serve a demigod. The atmosphere leans monkish too -- serene, contemplative, a little austere. Seating, though, can be scarce: The layout prioritizes elegance over density, which may leave some regulars orbiting like planets looking for a perch. The music -- everything from Brazilian funk to obscure Zamrock -- sets a sonic tone that says this is not a place for rush or noise. In short, it's a sanctuary. But sanctuaries have trade-offs: The beautifully crafted mugs often arrive too hot to hold, while beautiful -- more sculpture than vessel, more form over function. At times, the entire experience feels so immaculately curated that you half-expect Nathan Fielder to step out from behind the brushed steel wall, clipboard in hand, quietly noting how long you'll wait for a cortado without shifting your aesthetic posture. So: is Comet Over Delphi a community café? A lifestyle shrine? A soft experiment in aspirational capitalism? It's hard to say. But with light like that and coffee this good, you'll probably come back -- even if you suspect you're part of the pilot episode.

First impression, literally mind blown by how aesthetic the space was! Totally giving that Aussie cafe vibes for me with seatings by the large windows, sleek and clean interior, and just slow-living kinda ambiance. SUPER IN LOVE! Unfortunately no food options offered, but prolly compensated by quite rich selection of beverages. Per the reviews, people seemed to come for their matcha or espresso tonic. Nevertheless, not wanna placing my bet given the polarized reviews on their matcha, and also not a fan of espresso tonic, I opted for Simple Latte. To my surprise, I loved their bold aromatic coffee. It surely gave that strong wakeup kick and I requested mine to be slightly sweetened by simple syrup, which I was fond of. I initially didn't really set high expectations as I was guesstimating the crowd to just be intrigued by their instagenic space, but they prove me wrong.

Hip new coffee shop in Highland Park. I got lucky and found parking right in front. I love the bright and airy refreshed warehouse look and feel. It’s a welcoming vibe and it makes the space feel so inviting. I love anything matcha! I ordered the Matcha coconut and it was very refreshing, especially on a hot day.

This shop is exquisite! The staff are friendly and can make one amazing cup of coffee. The design inside is incredibly considered and minimalist. There’s even newspapers hanging on the wall to read!
